Well they understand the mortal threat that Cruz is to their existence. Trump won’t do anything to them and they know this.

Did it ever occur to you they actually believe Trump more, and think criticizing Cruz will draw votes away from Trump?
You need to think in dynamic terms. A Planned Parenthood statement can never be taken at face value.
