Former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields accused Greta Van Susteren of being a "shill" for Donald Trump's campaign late Wednesday evening, after the Fox News anchor urged Fields not to bring a civil defamation lawsuit against either Trump or campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, who last month was charged with misdemeanor battery for a run-in following a campaign event in Florida last month.
Earlier Wednesday, POLITICO reported that a Florida prosecutor has decided not to prosecute Lewandowski and will announce the decision later Thursday afternoon.
By Wednesday evening, TheBlaze reported that Fields said she was looking to sue both the candidate and his campaign manager for defaming her character throughout the episode. Lewandowski tweeted that Fields was "delusional" with her account of events, while Trump himself questioned whether the bruises on Fields' arm came from the alleged grabbing incident at his golf club.

Kelly is getting a bad rap on this - the article posted by combat_boots is false. I know this because I checked the sources the false article is based on, and the sources (tweets) say the skunk is Katie Pavlich, not Megyn Kelly.
Maybe so, but she used her "woman card" one too many times.

I am seriously amazed at who and how many self-proclaimed conservative, honest pundits have turned out to be garden variety opportunists and hacks. Just amazing. And I am VERY happy about it, because otherwise I would have gone on trusting what isn't trustworthy.
I’ll have to say, I am surprised by Mary Katherine Ham’s siding with Fields. I gave up watching Fox News and pretty much all tv news years ago, so I haven’t seen if there has been any change from her regarding this hoax, but I don’t care if you don’t like Trump...if it’s a hoax, it’s a hoax. She earned her creds staying on top of the Duke Lacrosse rape hoax. Has she forgotten about truth?

Maybe I should have pinged you to my response in post 38. I think we’re thinking along the same lines. I used to think it was just Dan Rather types. Now I see most journalists this way. I don’t know who I dislike more, politicians or journalists. Neither are doing their job, unless their job is to misinform and destroy.
