The economy will be a thinly disguised feudal system of Islamists with engineering degrees in mansions paying starvation wages to laborers to harvest olives to be shipped to China. There will be shopping malls for some and little shacks on the edges full of smugglers, drug labs and brothels for everyone else. That’s the Islamist dream.

OK - that's true - it IS the Islamist dream. Greenfield's right.

BUT if the "Palestinian State" was built 500 miles away rather than right next door to Israel here's what would change... The "antisemitism by proxy" funds would dry up.

And that's no small deal.

Arabs would be forced to fight their cousins, neighbors, people the next city over and any country within a few hundred miles. Hatred's unlimited but human effort's NOT unlimited. And the Western 'donors' - - those who care 'oh so much' about Palestinians?

What about them?

When 'antisemitism by proxy' is removed, they'll lose interest and funds will start drying up. Funding hatred of Arabs hating the Arab tribe next door isn't as much fun...

Why?

One more Arab country that hates everyone- - but especially hates Jews and Americans isn't a big draw if it's impotent.. So yes, create a Palestinian State - but a minimum of 500 miles away from Israel... Let them stew in their own juices...
