It was a VERY upscale business, that my maternal great grandfather started and employed his two bothers in.

If you haven't ever heard of Paul Stewart, in NYC, look it up; it was like that, but more so. The men of the 400 were the regular customers, as well as those from the upper middle class.

So I just grew up knowing things about how and what men should wear...ladies too. *shrugs*

Thanks for liking my family history story. I think that EVERYBODY has a fascinating family history story! Everyone's story is different and unique and that's what makes them wonderful and interesting to others; even though it's just "normal" to the one telling it. :-)
