I can always tell when I'm posting to someone who gets told what to think by the voices in the TeeVee. :)

Well, you're half-right in this case. I've seen Ms. Palin herself speak on the TeeVee, and that's primarily what I've used to judge her. I know that judging someone by their own words and actions may seem a bit unfair, but hey, what's the alternative?

For your viewing pleasure, here is Ms. Palin's dynamite speech endorsing Trump. After listening to/watching this, how could anyone not think she's the bees knees!

We owe Palin our gratitude for the initial tear in the mask of the Uniparty.

If it wasn't for her burning at the stake of the Uniparty media, we probably wouldn't be where we are today, with much of the "conservative" punditry and many of the "Republican" politicians exposed as Uniparty members in good standing.

I've noticed that Palin gets under the skin of some FR GOPee Cruz supporters. I'll just have to presume that those people are more Establishment than most there, and thus are quicker to parrot back the lines learned from the Party media organs.

I cannot think of a single intelligent thing she's said that I didn't already know before she said it. I'm dead serious. I don't think she is any brighter than the average person. I.Q. of exactly 100.

There were a lot of people tired of Palin long before this primary. And it has nothing to do with her being "anti-establishment", because that's not how she appeared on the scene in 2008 in the first place. She was a sitting governor about whom most of us knew comparatively little, and we were pulling for her. No indications that she was any more or less "establishment" than anyone else. I thought she started out okay, and I think most of us hoped she'd improve her professionalism and presentation over time.

But instead of growing into the role of a national leader, she kind of shrank. The corny colloquialisms became more common, the sing-songy tone to her voice became more pronounced, and her speeches became more rambling rather than more focused. My wife still gives me a hard time because when she first popped on the scene, I commented that maybe she might grow into our Margaret Thatcher. Now, whenever she comes on TV, my wife just kind of gives me a sideways look and "Margaret Thatcher?"

Honestly, I have a difficult time understanding how anyone can see her as anything more than a novelty act at this point. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on their part, I don't know.

But it has nothing to do with jealously, or being "anti-establishment", or anything else. She's just an embarrassment as any kind of a serious thinker or speaker.

You should really get up to speed on the Palin phenomenom, since you're just shooting from an uninformed lip.

I never said anything about her being "anti-establishment". I wrote: We owe Palin our gratitude for the initial tear in the mask of the Uniparty.

I then talked about her being burned at the Uniparty media's stake.

What happened is this: when she was nominated, the media had at her like a pack of wild dogs for a solid month and a half, then it subsided to a dull roar after they'd done their damage with these unprecedented attacks.

Those of us paying attention took note. I chronicled the attacks here on FR, so I know what happened.

After the election, she went home to Alaska, where more attacks occurred. Eventually, she left office in order to allow the Alaskan government to get back on track, and to avoid being bankrupted.

Those of us paying attention took note that the GOP didn't lift a finger to help, nor a finger to retaliate, as should have been done.

Those of us paying attention took note of the actions of the Republicans after we gave them solid majorities in the Congress after 0bama's election.

Eventually, with the advent of Donald Trump, the initial dots of Palin, the DC Kabuki Dance dots of the Unirepublicans, and then the Palin-patterned attacks on Trump showed the full extent and nature of the DC Uniparty beast.

If you had been paying attention (which from your posts you obviously were not) you also would have connected the dots, instead of outing yourself as an embarrassment as any kind of a serious thinker or writer.

BTW - I do agree with your assessment of the Holy Roman Empire. So you were paying attention in that area, at least. :)

You ever heard of former freeper Deep In The Hurtgen Forest [DITHF]?

I know all about the attacks. So what? They kept coming because she wasn't good at parrying them. If you can't run with the big dogs, stay under the porch.

And I'm not remotely a believer in the "Uniparty" myth. If it truly existed, then Obama's immigration reforms would have been passed into law rather than forced through as easily-reversed executive orders. He would have been able to force through large additional subsidies for Obamacare so that it wouldn't be staggering the way it is now. His Clean Power regulations wouldn't have been halted because the "Uniparty" controlled Congress would have enacted them into law. And Judge Garland would already be confirmed on the Supreme Court.

Just because the GOP controlled Congress doesn't have the votes to shut down the government, and/or doesn't think it would work or be a smart thing to do, does not mean that Obama gets everything he wants. That's a myth/lie/joke/mischaracterization propagated by people who either 1) are deliberately trying to hand Congress to the Democrats, or 2) are too ignorant/emotional to view the actual facts objectively.

It's pretty funny, in a way. Some people on the right are furious that the GOP won't shut down the government to defund programs, while the entire left is furious that Congress refuses to legislation Obama has wanted to push through for years.

There is no Uniparty except in the minds of the deluded.

I was here. You weren't. I chronicled them.

And I'm not remotely a believer in the "Uniparty" myth.

Enjoy the last days of the "Republican" Party. I held my nose and voted for the "lesser of two evils" for all the elections of my life. No more. And I'm not the only one, if they steal it out from under Trump or Cruz. :)

And Judge Garland would already be confirmed on the Supreme Court.

0bama's term isn't over yet, stud - and the Unirepublicans haven't finished their betrayals, either.

Just because the GOP controlled Congress doesn't have the votes to shut down the government, and/or doesn't think it would work or be a smart thing to do, does not mean that Obama gets everything he wants. I know for a fact that Lois Lerner walked on multiple serious felonies because the Unirepublicandemocrats love the IRS, and what it represents.

A Republican Party that wasn't wearing a Uniparty t-shirt under its red jersey would have seriously messed up Koskinen and his merry little band of incompetent felonious thugs.

Some people on the right are furious that the GOP won't shut down the government to defund programs...

Yes, the po widdle GOPee is HELPLESS in the face of the Media brutes. Whatever. They don't need to shut the government down to defund - they just need to play hardball on the spending bills. Single purpose bills, so no one can play games.

But Washington and its K-Street owners are all about games...

There is no Uniparty except in the minds of the deluded.

There are none so blind as those who refuse to see.

You've flat-out admitted that you're GOP Establishment. Nice. No WONDER you're attacking Palin.

Well, your little Fat Dracula sold out to the Establishment club. It's going to be a pleasure watching Trump stomp his Ivy-League rear-end into the ground, like Trump just did in Colorado. :)
