Cruz is crashing in the polls now. What happens to his momentum after he loses the next 6 contests, often placing 3rd?
He is done.
— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) April 15, 2016
If Cruz destroys the Party at the Convention then loses to Hillary, he is finished politically - BUT if he quits, he has a bright future.
— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) April 15, 2016
Yes, Cruz is a narcissistic jerk - and exactly why he will likely quit before Cleveland. Narcissists don't often commit suicide.
— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) April 15, 2016
I'm going on record as predicting CRUZ QUITS BEFORE CLEVELAND in a magnanimous gesture to save the Party gaining future leverage & goodwill.
— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) April 15, 2016
Does narcissistic Cruz at age 45 seem like the kind of man to destroy his career just to stop a man with whom he largely agrees on policy?
— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) April 15, 2016
People say Cruz will stay in to the end out of ambition - but political suicide is not ambitious. Being the guy who "savedthe Party" is.
— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) April 15, 2016
Cruz going to Cleveland would be the equivalent of a Kamikaze pilot diving into an enemy ship. Bad for the boat, worse for the pilot.

They won a little skirmish, but are losing the war BIG TIME.
Amazing all the smart people here that dont get it. The big picture problem is not rocket science to anyone who is not stuck staring at one tree so long they get so cross-eyed they think the fuzzy thing they see is the whole forest.
What happened In Colorado is indefensible on any coherent, rational, ethical, or moral ground. Everyone know this. THAT is the big picture, that is the forest - and exactly why Trump is so much more popular than any other candidate. THAT is why there is a movement like we have never before seen in American politics. Trump is blowing up the status-quo Americans have HATED for so long. And Colorado gave him more ammunition in that fight for freedom from establishment elitists cramming what they want down our throats.
Cruz told the Colorado crowd earlier that its easy to talk about making America great again you can even print that on a baseball cap but that the more important question is which candidate understands the principles and values that made America great in the first place.
Does that mean getting in bed with and wildly fornicating and fluffing every establishment elitist he can get close to?
Wow he makes me sick. To think I bought his book A Time For Truth. I actually believed he was the only principled candidate in the race. He proved how stupid I was to believe him. Six months ago no one would have believed Cruz would be where he is right now - in bed with the GOP elite.
Ill still vote for him if he is the nominee but Id like a refund on the book.

Just in time for crushing defeats in NY, CT, DE, RI, MD, and PA. He’s running dead last in at least 4 of them.

Apparently, Cruz only wins in states where the voters have little say. And he is not on track to get to the magic number of 1237 at all. He is acting as a spoiler, so intent on trying to stop Trump that he appears to have no sense of rationality.
The CO situation has hurt Cruz. Kasich pulling ahead of him means that he gets few or no delegates in the states in which Trump is poised to win this week.
Cruz cannot win the Republican nomination outright, and maybe has no chance of winning even if he wines and dines all of the delegates to get that second, third, fourth round nomination that Cruzers have pinned their hopes on. He certainly cannot win the general election—he has given the Democrat/media cabal way too much ammunition to use against him.

Mr. Trump knows.
Cruz doesn't!
Wyoming ... meh!

The important story here is that Cruz continues to excel at the inside delegate process.
And Trump continues to excel at gaining the actual votes of the people.

Another rigged outcome against Trump.
Why not let the people vote directly for a candidate?

"
narrow the gap"
For what, all of three days? Before New York puts Trump like 250+ delegates ahead, and then it expands to I-don't-know what on April 26?
You know Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders are doing poorly when they consider Wyoming a win worth trumpeting.

"
the billionaire leads the Texas senator by only 208 delegates"
"Only" this triple-digit number. If it was Jeb Bush leading Cruz by this much, the media would be screeching from the rooftops for Cruz to give up. They want to pretend Cruz can still win, because drama and intrigue brings in the hits/views/ratings.
I mean, Reuters put out this giddy article over fourteen delegates, or way less than Puerto Rico alone has.
To: Engraved-on-His-hands
Regardless of the vote Ted’s going to “steal” the delegates in Indiana, too!
Trump better get his act together fast if he’s going to reach the magic number.

Won’t help a damn bit more than an extra point will win a game when the other team is ahead by 4 touchdowns.

Full title: Trump will pick up a few delegates that no one actually thought about counting that will bring him still closer to 1237, and Ted will get several that will do absolutely nothing for him.
