He’s not going to be. What the Cruzlims won’t acknowledge is that the process is rigged. They mock Trump and anyone else for saying it is, but facts are it’s not worth the time expense and energy for Trump to compete there when the party has locked him out. Cruz supporters at these conventions are the far right of the right as are most Cruz supporters, which is why he can only get 25% of the vote nationally.

This ends April 26th after Trump wins his 6th in a row and Ted finishes 3rd for the 6th time in a row. Cruz can pick delegates all he wants in the hopes of a contested convention, but Trump will get 1237, and if he is a bit short, he will pick up what he needs from the 125-150 unbound delegates or will offer Kasich the VP and get his 66 Ohio delegates. Once Kasich drops out, Trump gets all 66 per Ohio law. So the Republican party would be looking at a historic defeat of epic proportions if they nominate Cruz through his bogus delegate stacking process. Millions will stay home or write Trump in like myself. Independents will be turned off by Cruz and why would any Democrat choose Cruz over Hillary? Cruz supporters can delude themselves all they want, but this ends on April 26th.

Cruzlims like the process being rigged.

And I enjoy how the Cruzlims get all politically correct (uptight) about the word "Cruzlims".

Could you give me some examples of Cruz positions that are "far right of the right"?

I thought FReepers were agreed that there were no victories to be gained by moving to the squishy middle, as we found out with Dole, McCain, and Romney.

I hope you are correct!

It is really tiresome to hear Cruz supporters eagerly embracing voter disenfranchisement, since it benefits *their* guy. And, worse, trying to spin the disenfranchisement as Trump incompetence--who are they trying to kid?

I'm looking forward to not hearing about Cruz any more.
