They noted that the USS Winston Churchill is another exception. Besides his premiership, Winston served in the army, was Minister of the interior (which made him functional head of all British police forces) and was Lord of the British admiralty- twice. Comparing Sir Winston to Senator Carl Lenin is a damned embarassment.

Churchill was also given an honorary US citizenship. His mother was American after all.

All well and good, how about Harold E. Holt. Never served in anyone’s armed service and was not an American citizen.
