The assistant district attorney pointed out that Fields, under questioning, made additional false statements concerning her interactions with the SS and Donald Trump. Her statement denied any physical contact with Trump prior to Lewandowsky's intervention. Secret Service statement stated she ignored directions to move out of the security corridor formed for the candidate to depart the building. These violations were further documented upon additional video not released publicly until viewed by the prosecutors staff.

Fields made an issue about the D.A.'s wife having connections to Trump, that the D.A. should have recused himself. As the assistant D.A. handled questioning and evaluation of the case, perhaps that issue is settled?
