Trump’s wrong that we live in a “democracy.” We live in a republic which utilises democratic institutions such as voting.
Trump’s right, however, in that the “rules” are largely there to just game the system to the establishment’s favour. They don’t screw him, specifically - they’re there to endemically screw any outsider who would present a challenge to the status quo.
