You’re lying:

The CO list of 2012 delegates and 2016 delegates reveal many of the delegates pledged to Cruz are retreaded Romney supporters.

Santorum had won the Colorado 2012 vote by 6%. The Colorado delegation did not honor the vote. Instead the majority of delegates voted for Romney.

Here are some of Romney retread delegates from the delegate lists.

Kim Ransom
Libby Szabo
Joy Hoffman
John Carson
Kent Lambert
Robin Coran
Kendal Unruh
Guy Short
Steven Hofman
Ray Garcia
Kevin Grantham
Wayne Williams
Dudley Brown

After they cheated Santorum in 2012, a huge group CO republicans quit the republican party and became independents or went with one of the other 3rd parties popular in Colorado.

The selection process for Colorado delegates is a staged show they perform every 4 years. It is performed to disguise the fact that the delegates are primarily pre-selected cohorts of the party insiders. It disenfranchises 1,000,000 voters.

Do not fail to recognize that these delegates had been pre-slated for JEB BUSH and merely functioning as placeholders until the GOPe dumps Cruz for their own boy.

So what? They had to have supported someone in 2012. And the 2012 vote was a straw poll, not a regulated vote.

I will grant you that most of the delegates are pre-selected, but that's hardly a surprise. The people who want to be delegates are generally going to be people active in the party, and the people elected are generally going to be those who are better known. But people still vote for which delegates they want.

If 2012 Trump-leaning people abandoned the party after 2012, that would explain why their slates were disorganized and they had poor turnout.

Trump's claim that he took a principled stand not to participate because it was all crooked is a flat-out lie. A guy who chooses not to participate on principle doesn't have an in-state manager and campaign staff for that state, and doesn't fire the guy two days before the caucuses. Those actions on Trump's party confirm that he did want to compete, but found out too late that the people heading up his campaign were not doing a good job.

I personally prefer primaries to caucuses, and Colorado's system is particularly cumbersome. But Trump's organization screwed up badly as well.
