If the presidential election were a national caucus or delegate convention I would give Cruz a chance. In a straight popular vote forget it he would get hammered by Hillary or Bernie, and of course Cruz would be going up against the masters of vote stealing and manipulation with the Democrats.

I had initially thought Trump was the best candidate to fight Democrat fraud. However, he was evidently negligent in fighting Cruz at the state party level with respect to recruiting delegates, establishing a post-primary presence, and hiring attorneys to decipher the 50 state rules. Trump is a good campaigner and understands the media, but this weakness in managing a so-called ground game does not bode well in a general election, unless he has learned a lesson from the Republican nomination process.
