That is the horror story that I hear. Our daughter and SIL don’t get to submit claims until just short of the year end...

I won't even bother unless it's beyond necessary at this point.

I just brought my daughter for an obgyn vist and a follow up to get one of the BCP that helps control acne. No exam, a few questions and the RX. For both appointments my portion was $380. I almost had a heart attack.

I would have never agreed the the follow up had I known it was going to cost that much. Literally, the follow up was the doctor asking her how it was going and then giving the remainder of the RX (because she only gave 3 months worth at the first visit). It wasn't even five minutes.

Then I went to fill my sons' RX for skin cream. Normally, you get it for $35 with a drug company coupon. Now it was $115 with the coupon.
