The so called “Reagan Democrats will propel Trump to victory” myth is just that, a myth. First, the so called Reagan Democrats are a myth in 2016 as the demographics are quite different than they were in Reagan’s day. Secondly, if Trump cannot unite the GOP base, Bernie’s Bolshevik voters are not going to do it for him

If the primary in New York State today was just Republican and was open I would bet money that Trump would get nearly 75% of the vote! Don’t get me wrong—I live in Western New York state. Far from NYC. A HUGE share of the democrats around here are for Trump. All we have to do as Republicans is get him nominated. There is no interest for Cruz and/or Kasich. At least not from democrats.
Trump is winning this primary. Why do you have such difficulty understanding that? It is stunning that otherwise extremely intelligent people like yourself are so blinded from the facts in front of you. Do you think Cruz is going to win tonight? I mean come on. I would risk owing a million dollars on that bet. And if I lost, I’d be in huge trouble but I also would never be more comfortable with the bet knowing I’d win it.
