They say conservative things, vote for or against bills to enhance their conservative credentials but in the end, their conservative values lead to an ever increasing federal government. So, if you believe that conservative candidates that run on conservatism but fail to govern as such should be held to account, and I agree they should, what confidence do you have that the recently conservative Trump who has said himself his positions are negotiable are the real deal?
Besides, “ the government will pay for healthcare” is not a conservative position. Nor is adopting 9/11 conspiracy theories and left it’s talking points on Iraq
