Did anything in my assumption say that this is what I'd do? If the nomination is stolen from Trump, I will vote third party as an excellent way to destroy the Republican Party. But folks who aren't particularly committed will choose the outsider option in the running.

I've expressed this earlier. The Republican Party was dead to us with the primary runoff "win" being stolen for Cochran. We didn't realize the stinking corpse could not be revived and rehabilitated.
