So many people I spoke with yesterday were seeking knowledge on the “final” tally from NY. One young man who was a sr in high school brought his granddad, made the comment He would have won everything if the independents were allowed to vote. A very astute young man

You cannot communicate like this unless you really believe what you are saying. What a contrast to Cruz, who so many people have not felt completely comfortable about, and now that the masks have fallen off,now see he was lying the whole time, and very well at that.
You said something about the way Trump communicates last night as well. When I read it, I had to pause and think about it. Here is a billionaire who needs none of this aggravation, someone who has fame, fortune, a wonderful family, and a name built over 40 years--and he is putting it all on the line for what--to make the country he loves great again.
At his own expense, he endures the slings and arrows of everyone, to save the country he loves.
And that love comes across when he speaks and people respond to it.
Who ever heard of a political rally where men and women shout out "I love you!" and he responds back "I love you too!"

It first sunk in about two weeks ago. I noticed that whenever Trump read "The Snake", the whole room got quiet--you could hear a pin drop. It was like a father reading a bedtime story to his children.
Since Reagan I have yearned to believe in someone again who loved America as much as I did.
I got Bush the Elder,Dole,Bush the Younger,McCain and Romney. I voted for them all because I loved my country but I did not feel toward them like I felt about Reagan.
Now I realize that they were all part of the selling out of America over the last 25 years, and I am angry. Everyone has sold us out and become rich in the process.
Someday that escalator in Trump Tower is going to be in the Smithsonian, because the history of America and the world changed on June 16, 2016 when Trump and Melania stepped onto it, to make America great again.

Unlike Obama, whom no one vetted or bothered to find out why his records were sealed, Republicans won’t get away with this.

Thanks for yesterday’s advise. If the rally had been in the evening, I think it would have been difficult to get there on time and a lot more people. Our water and snacks were tossed in the trash by the screeners. We were hungry. Ended up buying a Burger basket/cheese burger with fries $10. A two cookie package $2. Later in the day, we bought one coffee, one small drink, one box popcorn and another two cookie package $10. A woman with a small Min Pin was interviewed by someone with big mic and a cameraman. I wonder if anyone knows why she was interviewed. I think an older man in a wheel chair was part of her group. I was not able to make my phone work well and missed the message from Hoosiermama. Just for fun I managed to send a wave or two to the camera media. The worst thing about being at the live event was not being able to see Mr. Trump for all the cellular phone picture takers and recorders. I tried for awhile to get a good photo but eventually figured it was not going to happen. Once I framed Mr. Trump in the photo, several phones ahead of me suddenly appeared in my photo. We were not too far back as we were with the packed crowd in front of Mr. Trump. Rambling on here as I think of the event. Also, I have been to the Blue Ribbon Pavilion for events which had seating. I saw bleacher seating in two areas for the rally. It was not pleasant standing for hours even while eating. In all, it was exciting. People of all ages and conditions. I saw a young woman using a red tipped cane coming around a corner alone. Oh, and Mr. Trump said of one protester, “You are easy here in Indiana. You just got up and left. We did not have to lead you out”. (paraphrased) That was funny. WIBC Abdual, a news guy, thought that Mr. Trump said nothing substantive! He said that Trump jumped around by giving the people some Carrier and Clinton or whatever popped into his head. I thought, “Well, yeah, that is what we like about him. Not rehearsed”. And, our Chicks on the Right just do not like Trump but will vote for him if he is the nominee. That is all folks.
Let’s hope Washington State goes Trump in our May 27th primary. Judging from the King County Convention, Trump wasn’t favored. I am hoping things are different east of the mountains.

Good to hear from you, and so glad you made it through the gauntlet and that you got to attend the event. It is a learning experience and it cannot be taught, but must be lived- to get the full lessons.
In hindsight, I should have mentioned that the snacks and water, for the most part, are for the lull as one waits in line.
The rally that I attended in AZ., allowed one water bottle, but no cap. I didn’t bring any food, so I wasn’t thinking about the TSA taking such items away from you. What fascists. I despise those a**holes.
It’s a great first hand field report. Thank you. Now you are a pro and ready for the next main event.
If you want a good position, and who doesn’t, because you are either going to wait outside for hours on end, or- you are going to wait inside for hours on end, you might as well show up early and get a great view. So- the rule of thumb is go early. It’s just the way it is because so many people show up.
For national events like the one you attended- what ever time the doors open- line up 4-6 hours before, no ifs, ands, or buts. Look at it like it’s an 8 hour shift at a job- but one that is going to be spectacular.
