Who makes the decision on changes on our money...Congress?

No, but Congress can certainly stop any changes they don't want.

This is Obama trying to sneak one more insulting attack on America while in office. Harriet Tubman is worthy of being honored but not suitable to a $20 bill.

Harriet Tubman was a Republican. She joins Lincoln on $5 bill, Grant on the $50 bill, William McKinley on the $500 bill, and Salmon Chase on the $10,000 bill. Woodrow Wilson was the most virulent racist to disgrace the White House since the Civil War, so he needs to be kicked off the $100,000 bill. I suggest Frederick Douglass as a replacement. We can be generous and let the Dems keep Grover Cleveland on the $1,000 bill.

I would have preferred Grace Hopper.

I didn't know who she was, so I looked her up. A very impressive life.

But that's the way some Chicago types pronounce "grasshopper." Hey, lookut dat gracehopper over by dere.

Yeah, he was a real winner if you like slavery and killing Indians for no reason other than it’s great fun.

He was a soldier, and a damned fine one, who attacked our enemies with zeal. You do know that he adopted two Indian children that he rescued during the campaign and who he raised as his own.

That photo - I’m guessing she’s got her pistol at hip height and just got done saying “Get off my lawn.”

A much better choice would be Crispus Attucks, the first American casualty in the American Revolutionary War. (also happened to be black or at least as black as B.O.)

Second choice would be Prince Whipple, also black. Supposedly crossed the Delaware with Gen. Washington. Served in the New Hampshire militia, during the American Revolutionary War.

Both patriots. Added bonus: both have cool sounding names :)

Of course there was no chance of it happening, but I always thought Molly Pitcher would've been a great choice.

There are far too many Founder greats ahead of her in line. The Tubman stunt is more of an INSULT than anything else.

Dumping the first Democrat President? Aww. But I would rather see Kate Upton on the $20 bill than Tugman - UGH.

Several blacks were given Federal pensions for service rendered during the Revolutionary War. (This is referenced in Wilson’s Biography of George Washington).
