As conservatives and patriots, it's time to put bruised egos behind us, heal our differences and act united in the best interests of our nation. The media and the GOPe will try to keep us divided, of course, but we must not fall for their treasonous tricks. I can accept this and will do what is necessary to keep the Hildabeast well away from any federal facility except a US Courthouse and a Federal Prison...much less the horrifying thought of her becoming #45.
But back in 2004, you penned the following:
As a conservative site, Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America. We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc. We also oppose the United Nations or any other world government body that may attempt to impose its will or rule over our sovereign nation and sovereign people. We believe in defending our borders, our constitution and our national sovereignty.
My question for you is this: are we going to be allowed to hold Mr. Trump to the above standard after we've gotten him elected and inaugurated as #45?
This is your property and I'll respect the rules of it going forward...but I want to know what the rules are after the election is over...

he has taken worse onslaught than most politicians have ever been subjected to and he keeps on standing...and from his OWN party.. Exactly. And the Ted Cruz fanboys and the GOPe/contested convention crowd want to pretend that the dsipeciable, amoral, and unprecedented campaign of relentelss character assassination and demonization never happened, and didn't strongly blunt Trump's march to the nomination.
The whole GOPe/Media/Left/Cruz campaign smear vendetta almost worked. But they;ve blown all their ammo and Donald Trump is still standing taller than ever.
I tell you what, I am amazed at Donald Trump's resiliency and fortitude.
He'll make a GREAT Chief Executive, and those who are calling him a clown, con-man, or huckster are just blind, and need to STFU.
We will now see exactly what kind of character Ted Cruz has, deep down beneath all the advisers and sycophants. Does Cruz really want to try to destroy the party because he thinks he entitled to something he hasn't earned with the voters? God forbid.
The GOPe are going to be Trump's b-----s by the time the convention comes around. And they need to be knocked into line. Heads will also roll, and deservedly so.
Vote Trump. The Revolution is ON!

Ted is gone?
Really? Did he just step down and I haven’t looked at Breaking News yet?
Here’s a news flash for you - Jim Robinson has stated many times that he will support the Republican nominee. Whether Cruz or Trump. Since there ain’t one yet; I’m safe in assuming Jim Rob is a man of his word.

My only question: Would some of the Trump supporters do the same if the reverse was true? I would not support Cruz. But, I would stop opposing him or promoting Trump on this board.

The interesting thing is I’m not sure how many people on this forum understand that hatred Sanders supporters have for Hillary. It is huge and even though the media has not said much about it, the Dems may end up with a mess of a convention of their own.

Sorry, I cannot support someone who [thinks] it is ok to suck the brains out of a partially born baby. There's lies and there's damn lies, and that's a damn lie.
Donald Trump is now staunchly pro-life, based on a personal experience he had several years back.
So take your lies and begone, liar...
Vote Trump

But some Cruz supporters will feel increasingly alienated from voting for Trump should Trump supporters continue the over-the-top mockery of Cruz.
Bottom line: If Trump supporters want Trump to win in the general, they need to stop alienating potential voters. You cant insult people into changing their vote from Cruz to Trump.
Look here pal, if you or any Cruz supporter is so mentally pliable and jelly spined that the commentary directed against your candidate is capable of pushing you in another direction, you're honestly too weak minded to be trusted inside a voting booth in the first place.
If the Cruz supporters are (like their candidate) such cry babies, wailing and whining away to the point that they would stay home on election day or even vote for Hillary Rotten Criminal, they were never conservatives to begin with, they were a pack of gullible fools who got suckered in by the slick, oily, crap weasel that is Ted Cruz and believe this:
Trump can win without them. Like our Esteemed Founder said to you earlier today, "you have a decision to make".
Good luck with that.

IF he does win the nomination in Cleveland, he better learn to kiss GOP-e ass PDQ.
I don't take the glass half empty approach. I like the glass is half full.
The GOP-e better kiss the ass of We The People and Mr. Trump.

Are you saying Jim has flip flopped on the issue?
I can link to the times he said he will support Cruz or Trump if they should win the nomination if you like.
And as of yet - no one has won the nomination. A “presumptive nominee” is not the same thing as whoever will be the winner in June.

If you do, please post it as a thread on FR. I would enjoy seeing that, not because it is you, but because so many have said it and probably won’t follow through.
