Reporter: The fact that he still has a path to the nomination and you dont how does this impact your ability to win states in May and continue to win delegates
Ted Cruz: Im curious, did you ask the same question two days ago, with Donald two weeks in a row of crushing landslide defeats, How does this impact your ability to go forward?
Notice how Ted Cruz would not answer the question and instead rattled off one of his not-so-honest talking points?

LOL. Love that commercial.
Explain to me again how TX conservatives elected this nutball?
Please go away, Ted.
I would like to have my own alternate reality, but it costs too darn much.
The chaos at the convention is already scheduled and paid for, whether Cruz has anything to do with it or not.
There is no “the TEA Party”. There are a lot of groups named “TEA Party this” and “TEA Party that”. A lot of them are just set up by the same old GOP hacks to co-opt the original grass roots movement. They managed to pretty much kill what was a non-partisan movement for people who were tired of the uniparty corruption. At this point Trump is the embodiment of the original TEA Party movement.
$_it happens. We have had McCain in AZ for several terms now.
For the lat 2 months Ted’s whole campaign has been, “Donald Trump is a bad man” and “I’m not Donald Trump”.
It wasn’t really a Voterless election.
It was a Voterless rigged outcome.
Teddy had a poor upbringing, like Barry
Ever noticed that Cruz looks similar to LBJ ? I don’t think looks prove anything, I just found that odd.
Ted has a sarcastic, “smartest person in the room,” debate champ personality.
Those types simply repel other folks. He is not warm and personable.
When he tries to be, it is an obvious act.
Likeability is near the top of lists, for who gets elected President.
at some point...
that turd in the punch bowl has to be removed.
that time is now.
I think we should establish a drinking game.
Every time Ted Cruz says “Donald”, everyone has to take a drink. This alone could cause a huge economic upturn in the alcohol sales industry.
So true!
Yes, I just don’t believe much of what he says at this point. When a guy is so far down in the popular vote, the delegate count, and the states won, he ought to just admit it and move on. The endless spin means that either he is a congenital dissembler as Trump has pegged him, or that he thinks people are just very dumb and easily deceived.
Another example I found laughable: Today he tried to downplay Trump’s NY victory by arguing “I got more votes in Texas than Trump did in NY.”
Truth:
Cruz got 43% on his home state, Trump got 60% in his. The difference in votes is because (duh) Texas has a republican party has about 5 million republicans, while there are under 1/2 million republicans in NY state.
Trump won 1/3 of Texas delegates. Cruz won 0% of NY delegates.
To hear Ted tell it, Ted did just great in NY.
I tire of his b.s. half-true lawyerly arguments.
I think on a certain level you're right. Ted's father left him when he was very young. That has to have a profound and deleterious effect on a child. I'm wondering if at some level Cruz's seeming fixation with all things Trump is some deep seated resentment and anger over that childhood loss. perhaps Cruz sees Trump as "daddy".
Do any of you trumpists have a picture of the Donald helping a little with the rubble on 7/11
