LOS ANGELES (AP) - The principal of a Los Angeles high school where a scuffle broke out with adult protesters over a new gender-neutral bathroom praised his students Wednesday as “trailblazers” for campaigning to install the restroom.
In a statement, Principal Martin Gomez said he is proud of students at Santee Education Complex for their efforts to establish the first multi-stall, gender-neutral restroom at the Los Angeles Unified School District, the nation’s second-largest.
He dismissed the protesters as a small group trying to “discredit the brave actions of our students.”
Students leaving the school Tuesday tussled with protesters dressed in black and yelling from a bullhorn.
A video of the brawl aired on KABC-TV (http://bit.ly/1Stvn0W ) showed one person punching another on the ground while onlookers yelled and other students were held back.(snip)
Students at Santee Education Complex collected more than 700 signatures as part of a campaign launched in January called “It’s Just a Toilet” in support of a gender-neutral restroom.

I don’t have a problem with a singe stall 1 person unisex restroom.
We need to start a movement to protest bathroom stall doors
And that’s what they will all become and the price of everything will increase as a result.
This is becoming end-of-civilization stupid. If our civilization is this idiotic, we are moving at light-speed to the ash heap of history.
The purpose of colleges once upon a time was to impart the wisdom of the past on the leaders of the future.
Today colleges apparently have come to be somehow tasked with just the opposite purpose of imparting the foolish notions of idiots on the leaders of tomorrow.
The principal of this school seems to be a splendid example of the work that today’s colleges produce.
I have a problem with it — to the extent that it represents another incremental victory for the left in its war on our culture.

What is an Education Complex? A place where adult grade school dropouts go to get a middle school diploma?
That “incremental war on our culture” is over. The victors are just kicking around the ruins at this point.
If the principal supports the idea, what other hurdle needs to be jumped? Was he just trying to get the story in the news?
I assume the one on the right is the principal. The guy on the left looks a bit old to be a student - I am assuming he’s an activist trying to lobby for the change.
Of course if he’s allowed on the campus to protest why wouldn’t he be allowed in the new bathroom?
Do like the bums in san fran , piss and sh## on the streets, ny is already accepting this behavior issued by the mayor,
“we will not arrest people of color for doing this act in the streets”
It’s a sad commentary on the state of discourse in our society. We are transfixed on breaking down bathroom etiquette to further the Marxist assault on polite society. We have real problems in this country in need of leadership yet the left keeps distracting us from them with this clap trap.
