Republican National Convention delegates from the District of Columbia who are bound to or supportive of Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) tell Breitbart News that they are open to supporting Donald Trump instead.
Some are making the pitch that they want Trump to pick Rubio as his vice presidential candidate, but nonetheless the warm comments many of these Rubio delegates are making about Trumpinstead of about Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is perhaps a sign of a turning tide in the delegate game after Trump captured at least 89 delegates in New York last night.

That is true, but you have to expect that th open borders North American Union moles on this forum will keep trying to snag a t least a consolation prize.
That doesn’t require an elected legislator.
There are lots of bureaucrats who know DC inside and out, and who have worked with the legislature for three or four decades unelected. People who have served with several federal departments.
Agree on Rubio. He’ll fall in line, he’s already saying enforcment only on immigration. He’s a real assett against Hillary. Trump will have to keep an eye on the guy, but he wont stab him in the back like Cruz will.
Haha, I remember that post and replied to it. If the chess pieces represent our corrupt elite politicians, then I’m all for Trump knocking them over.
The Vice-Presidency would afford the still-young (and opportunistic) Rubio an automatic "MY Turn Now!" pole position in any future presidential primary... and, as you've pointed out, he continually all but slavers at the prospect of autocratically transforming the United States into Mexico North.
Not just no, but hell no.
Thank You forgetting it!! lmao
i thought it was hilarious... i still picture Trump as a Pigeon strutting around.... crapping on their game.... knocking over their “game” pieces..... the analogy is perfect and far from disparaging on Trump in my book.. they can take their game and shove it..
Ted will need closer to six hundred from what I’ve seen.
The idea that he’ll secure all his own plus that many new ones is fatuous.
should be >> thank you for getting it....... yeeesh...
The perfect job for Rubio—ambassador to artificial intelligence entities.
If they don’t emerge in the next few years Rubio can do nothing—and at least cause no harm.
If they emerge he can fight to make them citizens. ;-)
“The problem for the country is Open-Borders-Rubio is more unethical than Cruz, and you cant change a persons character; especially a politicians character.”

Trump does not need Kasich to win Ohio.
Just a thought, how about Rand Paul. He seems to be high energy and knows policy. There is some overlap on the issues and it might grab the interest of some libertarian and millennial voters.
Kentucky is adjacent to Ohio as well and that could help.
I think Gingrich will be Chief of Staff, I think since he knows the Clintons well and his daughter is a spokeperson for Trump, Huckabee is on Trump’s list.
Jeff Sessions would bring entirely too much peace and humility, competence and excellence to this free-for-all we are all “enjoying”.
Who wants a humble political sage and principled giant running around in the West Wing. /s
I keep hoping TRUMP will pull out Sessions name as his big surprise pick, but bargaining with the Establishment for these dang pesky delegates steals that case, perhaps.
Ted Cruz is indeed a powerful, stalwart, rock-ribbed, unflappable, fearless conservative. He is far and away the best V.P. pick Donald could make.
I’m dense. Why is any single state, Ohio particularly, so key? I never have quite understood the deal about Ohio, but accept that it is some kind of given.
My other wondering is how much power does the GOPE still hold over TRUMP?
DJT has turned the GOPE practically into smoldering ash, with the help of the people, but these stinking delegates do serve as the GOPE tool to pressure TRUMP into some nasty VP pick that may restore them in four years, to business as usual.
Second that.
If we can not rebel against the globalist Union, well then....
It’s just like communism. Reams of history prove it was a murderous failure, but then up pops Bernie and the park squatters, making it all sound like music.
Europe’s “union” is killing them in every conceivable way, but then there is Heidi, Ted and Marco, Paul Ryan and the Democrat Left.
...Col. Alan West, John Bolton...
******************************
Bolton would make a good SecState.
West is a resident of Texas.
Both are Conservatives, so probably would be shunned by the East and West coast States.
Donald Trump-Jan Brewer
Just another sign the GOP is collapsing under its own weight. I’m still looking for a viable “new” Conservative party to raise from the ashes to neutralize or diminish both the Democrat and Republican parties. As I said back during the hey days of the tea party activism, it has to start in congressional races and by tea party conservatives already in congress dropping their GOP party alligience and signing on to this new party. They might not have a majority for a long time, but one or both existing parties would have to gain their support to get anywhere, thus having considerable leverage.
