meaningless battle at New Orleans, no matter how triumphant the outcome, does nothing to remove the stains on his name. Those stain were self inflicted and the result of psychotic hatred for American Indians. His treatment of the Seminole and Cherokee people would be considered genocide today. I'm no bleeding heart but Jackson is an historical embarrassment.
