It’s a nonissue. I’m sure every single one of us has used a public bathroom at the same time as a gay person, and we’re all still here to tell the tale. We also have plenty of unisex and family bathrooms around that are used by all genders and nobody’s died yet.
If some pervert does something, that’s a separate issue. Such behavior is already against the law whether it takes place in a bathroom or not.
