Great artist, RIP. He wrote many top songs for other artists, people just don't realize how many top songs were written by Prince for others. Speaking of Wendy and Lisa, I remember back in the day Prince got another music award on an awards show, he walked up to the stage linking arms with Wendy and Lisa to accept the award. Some idiot music critic on the SF Chronicle blasted Prince for bringing adoring bimbos up on the stage - not realizing Wendy and Lisa were talented musician/singers in his band and the movie "Purple Rain". That critic was roundly blasted.
