He was like Frank Zappa in that way, he didn’t make his performance all about the guitar, so he doesn’t get considered as one of the greats, although most avid musicians do see their greatness on the guitar.
Yeah Zappa was a true great on the Guitar, as was Prince.
I have Zappa’s triple album...Shut up ‘n Play Yer Guitar.
