By this measure, we should have Audie Murphy on some bill.

Sorry, heroism itself does not quite = influence on country.

Especially when there are so few bills/coins to use for the honor.

My only possible acquiescence to this would be the idea we’d have rotating honors every XX years. Been doing that with coins now for the last 15!

exactly might point!

Harriet Tubman had ZERO influence on our country!

Had she never lived... not a single significant thing would be different about our country.

The entire process for picking the replacement was flawed from the start.

Instead of picking a more worthy replacement... among the MANY people who have contributed greatly to the history of our country... they limited the search to women.

Which “women” from US history are worthy of placing on the $20 was basically the question.

um... NONE. Should have been the answer!

Sorry, but that’s just the fact of the matter.

Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson, and Tubman? Even a kindergartner could point out the obvious magnitude of importance difference between Tubman and the others.

If you want to place Tubman on a bill? fine. Then switch them ALL out with people of Tubman level of importance, because trying to place her along side the others is akin to carving her face on Mount Rushmore, it makes no sense.
