That definition has not been used that way in recent times. It is possible it was used when Lincoln “stole” the nomination on the third ballot. The question is whether Trump can get 58% of the remaining delegates before Chicago and have enough to overcome the GOP version of super delegates ( the three minimum unelected delegates from each state who are part of the party hierarchy ).
Would you agree Paul Manafort is a delegate expert? If so, you should consider that he recently said Trump has several ways to get to 1237...and sounded very confident he will do so relatively easily.
