We have no laws that I am aware of that “protect transexuals rights to use whatever bathroom they choose?” That is not what is being discussed. You truly are a hopeless imbecile. What is being discussed is making it illegal for persons to use a bathroom that is marked for the other sex. As a parent I took our little girls into men's bathrooms to use the toilet and my wife took our little boy into the women's restroom. I have also been in a men's bathroom when women took their little boys into the men's room. I didn't have a problem with that, and my wife has not had a problem with men taking their little girls into women's restrooms.

What forced the state of North Carolina to pass its law was a Charlotte ordinance that would allow “transgenders” to use either a men’s or women’s bathroom, depending on the gender with which they identify.
