I don’t understand what changing the “gun culture” means.
Yeah, I thought a ‘culture’ was something that grew in a petri dish in the lab.
“I dont understand what changing the gun culture means.”
A politician’s culture is one surrounded by supporters (loyal voters), donors, staff, and opposing people. Gun culture refers to a decades-old opposition group. Changing that simply means eliminating political opposition, however that needs to be done. In the past, the attempt was through the propaganda system (media). Then it was through executive orders and accelerated legislation at moments when guns could be associated with a tragedy. This “gun culture” has been a problem for Democrats for decades. The leader of the D party sees removal of that problem as a primary goal. It is not an issue for Americans — it is a problem for politicians; Americans’ have other concerns, but then, politicians care less and less about Americans’ concerns.
“Changing the gun culture” means liberals believe that society can be turned against guns the way it was turned against people smoking. By massive propaganda & marginalization.
Google those words & you will learn a lot about how liberals think, uh, I mean feel, about guns.
For example, gungrabber groups encourage parents to shun the homes of gun owners and refuse their children permission to go there & play with the gun owner’s kids. Social ostracism.
Also google “gun production U.S.” Trust me, you’ll be encouraged at the annual figures which are a gungrabber’s nightmare.
