This has been a great week. The win in New York has changed the character of the race, and the character of the man leading. Trump is a born leader. He is destined to be our next president.

He has impacted on all of us. Even Prince wrote a song about him, as Trump had met him several times.

Trump is asking for all republicans to now unite. He's asking Cruz and Kasich to drop out and unite. Why don't you? Tell us clearly Ted and John why don't you?

Each week that you fail to drop out only makes you look more petty and smaller in our eyes, and for sure in Trump's too.

Do any of us, even Trump's most avid supporters, fully appreciate what Trump has done? These rallies are in places that have been ignored by campaigning politicians forever!! Trump is bringing it to all corners of the nation, with him and against him, and opening those rallies to all takers. He's telling us little folks that the nation needs saving. He's gotten people to think about the future and the potential to make it better. He's done real damage to PC fakeness.

Step back, as if we're observers from another place or era. It's an impossible thing he's accomplishing.

Waterbury venue is at least 1/2 full with big lines still outside. Two hours before Trumptime, people are so friendly and passionate, strong supporters to say the least! One guy and his wife near me are long time dems, they are voting Bernie on Tuesday to hurt Hillary, then voting Trump in November. They tell me they have many many friends all doing the same, time to secure our borders!!!

-- This has been a great week. The win in New York has changed the character of the race ... --

Predicted by Manafort, the view of the race will change much by the middle of May. Trump will be considered the presumptive nominee by then. Much effort is being applied to that end, it isn't a change that happens automatically.

In early to say "hi," will be out running errands when the rally is going on. Maybe some radio station will carry it, but I doubt it.

My mother made fuses somewhere in the Waterbury area during WWII. She went back to work at an artillery shell plant around Burlington, New Jersey during Vietnam. I had an uncle who lived in Waterbury and worked at Scoville Corp. They manufactured a hell of a lot of stuff in that area.

Anyone have MSNBC on? Some academician from Cornell just said that the “take back our country” movement is caused from “Tribal Anxiety.”

LOL. Look, it’s a new hashtag: #TrumpTribe :-)

I was reading a blog site and came across a comment that made me laugh aloud. I thought I'd share an excerpt. Stealing from the luggage - so apt!

That's why my #2 choice for President is Bernie. I have no doubt where he would taking the USS Titanic, and how bad it'll get before the boilers explode. At least Donald's screaming “Iceberg!”, even if his inclination is to ram the thing(*). The rest of the crew either wants to suggest Caribbean wear or are working to steal from the passengers’ luggage.

(*) Of course the real Titanic should have been dodging icebergs, but there was something to be said for hitting it. The last computer model I saw demonstrated that the Titanic’s frame could take the load of a head-on impact, while the glancing blow sheered rivet heads all across the one side, allowing water in.
