There's a simple, straightforward reason why one candidate (Trump) continues to skyrocket in all the polls, while the other one (Cruz) dwindles further and further into electoral irrelevancy:

I also believe that Mr. Donald Trump wins the hearts and minds of voters while Senator Cruz is busy "winning" delegates and guess which win counts more in both the short term and long run?
