Cruz already won Maine over a month ago. He can’t win it twice. Trump has his big day Tuesday and sweep of the NE states.

I’m in Maine.

I am a registered independent, so I did not vote in the GOP caucus.

The caucus was on Saturday, March 5th. Cruz received, at the time, 12 delegates, Trump received 9, and Kasich, 3.

There were only about 28 caucus sites for the GOP statewide. Some people had to drive 30 miles or more each way to their caucus site.

The dems went the next day, Sunday, March 6th. The dems had 535 or more caucus sites.

There were many problems for both the dems and the GOP at the caucus sites. Everyone was in an uproar about the confusion and problems that occurred. Within a few days, a bill was introduced in the Maine Senate to go back to a primary election in 2020. It sailed through the Maine Senate and Maine House, and was signed by the governor.
