Donald Trump Jr: Ted Cruz Has To Bribe Delegates To Win
CNN ^ | APRIL 24

Posted on 04/24/2016 8:38:39 AM PDT by Helicondelta

Donald Trump Jr. said that the only way Texas Sen. Ted Cruz can convince delegates to support him over his father is with bribery.

"Ted Cruz has no chance of winning this without bribing the delegates. That's his game at this point," the son of the real estate mogul told CNN's Jake Tapper in a CNN "State of the Union" interview that aired Sunday.

Trump Jr. said if his father wanted to bribe delegates he could -- and do it very well.

"He could send his private plane and send them down to Doral, they could play golf for a week and then we win that delegate. That's not the way this country should be run," Trump Jr. said.

Yeah exactly. So now donations buy politicians? If a politician accepts money to change his position on something he’s definitely a scumbag, but if he accepts money because the person giving it agrees with this position that just normal politics.

So question.. you and Ted say he handing him a 5...other say a 100... i can not tell either way...but.it clear he handing money... and it seem he was trying to hide it to some degree under that paper.....why?

Why hand out money?......why try to hide it?

Now you will say he was not trying to hide it....... but i know when I'm legitimately buying something..

I hand over money over so the other see it clearly..and not at any point under other paper that in might get losted

the flip side is a 100 is a cheap bribe... but dem do.cheap money bribe all the time with voter....call it walking around money

...so it.does look.odd

“I just find it impossible to believe that there are folks on this forum who continue to spout your kind of anti-American nonsense.”

Blow it out your butt, Andy! What you don’t like IS democracy - the need to find a candidate with views close to yours, but who can get a MAJORITY of the vote. Those moderates were closer to the center of American thought than you are - or than I am. But I could never win an election with my views - I’m not the majority! And neither are you.

America is about compromise, and finding someone who can appeal to the center. I’m to the right of 90% of Americans, maybe 95%. It is no use pretending that MY views get to rule.

This GOP-E paranoia needs to end. Like it or not, they are more mainstream than you or I - and you do not advance your views by losing elections.

Only the youtube video of Ted handing money over is false.

Ted and the GOP are working together to do whatever it takes to steal delegates and that includes paying expenses, wining and dining, and other crap that should never happen in an election.

Bribin Ted caught in the act!

And another voterless convention is won.

As Cruzers will say: “It’s the Rules!!!”

I can assure u that I thought and think my mother was just about perfect and not creepy at all. That has nothing to do with being sick of campaign events or visits to the aunties.

So what Cruz, who was right there, said was a kid’s drawing and a $5 bill,

So you are saying that Cruz, by his own admission, was passing out money. Why was he passing money (without regard to the denomination)? Did he say?

What would you have your party do? A run off election, that the states certainly wouldn't want to pay for? Give the nomination to the person with a plurality of the vote?

I already did when I told you that Trump is beating Ted no matter how you try and slice it. As to what would my party do? They would obviously try and steal it from trump as they are doing now. Playing what if doesn’t change reality.

I'm asking you outright what rules would you want in a situation were a candidate gets a plurality of the vote in the primary.

That's the situation that we have now. Trump is leading with a 38% plurality of the vote.

Would you prefer a delegate system where the delegates vote until a candidate reaches a majority, or would prefer no delegates, where the candidate with the plurality simply wins?

That is true. No principled conservative would have cosponsored the Corker Bill, and that includes everyone who voted for it and cosponsored it.

No principled conservative would have behaved as Cruz has in this primary. He is a ladder climbing politician.

Yeah, we can agree on that. I know that Trump is more liberal than I am on many things, but that’s alright, because there are other things about him that I find appealing as an American.

That is pretty easy — ok, converting pelts and maple syrup to US dollars.

“Cruz likely has more allies who’ve been involved in the party for longer...”

Pulease. It is the height of naivete to think that the 2-year junior senator from Texas with the inflated sense of entitlement and obnoxious manner has captivated GOP delegates all over the country. No one with any objectivity thinks for a minute that they all have come to be so enamored of his engaging manner that they are falling all over themselves to be delegates for him. Ridiculous.

The GOPe is doing this. Cruz is nothing more than the cat’s paw for his establishment masters, who, at this point, want Hillary over Trump.

If Hillary is our next president, Cruz and his deluded supporters are the ones to thank.

Your candidate has lost, but his overarching ambition and whatever sleezy back room deal the GOPe has promised him, are keeping him in this, to the detriment of us all.
