So you are saying that the Trump voters won’t support Cruz? But you expect the Cruz supporters to support Trump?

Seems like a lose-lose scenario.

I’ll support Cruz, if he is the nominee. What I am saying is Florida does not have the same conservative base that other southern states have. Those “squishy conservatives, independents and crossovers in Florida will not, in large part, vote Cruz. I’m just stating reality.

If Cruz had won the majority of delegates he would have been supported by Trump voters.

Instead, knowing he cannot win that way, he is trying to circumvent the spirit of the primaries and win on the 2nd round of the convention.

He won't win the General election with that tactic.
