Trump relentlessly mocks Kasich: 'I have never seen a human being eat in such a disgusting fashion'

Donald Trump relentlessly mocked Ohio Gov. John Kasich's campaign-trail eating habits on Monday.

During a rally in Rhode Island, the Republican presidential frontrunner said that the Ohio governor should learn from Trump's children, whom Trump has urged to eat modest portions of food.

"Did you see him? He has a news conference all the time when he's eating. I have never seen a human being eat in such a disgusting fashion," Trump said of Kasich.

He continued: "I'd say, 'Children, small, little bites.' This guy takes a pancake and he's shoving it in his mouth. It's disgusting. Do you want this guy for your president?"

Trump's critical view of Kasich's eating comes less than a day after the governor announced an alliance with Sen. Ted Cruz to consolidate anti-Trump voters in the remaining primary states. Kasich canceled campaign events in Indiana, where public polling shows that Cruz could take home a portion of the delegates, while Cruz has promised not to seriously campaign in Oregon and New Mexico.

After a brief detour in which he criticized Kasich's support for the North American Free Trade Agreement in the 1990s, Trump returned to insulting Kasich's eating habits.

"I've never seen a guy eat like this," Trump said.

Kasich has recently made headlines for his healthy appetite at campaign stops, scheduling press availabilities during appearances at delis and diners. On Monday, he discussed his anti-Trump alliance with Cruz during a campaign stop at a Philadelphia diner.

KaSICK: "Motor Mouth"; shoveling it in as fast as a GOPe union hack can.

KaSICK's demeanor reminds me of the union thug/boss "Johnny Friendly" in "On the Waterfront" played by Lee J. Cobb; almost the same exact attitude.

And Trump cheated on his first with his second. And his second with his third.

Incorrect. Met the third after divorced from the second one; rumor has it she cheated on him; he has praised his past wives and has admitted it was his fault for the breakups because he was always working and never home. He has been with Melania 18 years, married to her over ten years, and seems to have found the right woman this time who is independent-minded and domestic. Have you seen or heard any cheating stories since then? If so, please post the link.

It reminds me of that scene from Groundhog Day when Phil stuffed that entire doughnut in his mouth.

Is this a killer argument that will decide who gets to be a Class President among the 5th graders?

Gilda Radner had words for this: “It’s enough to make you SICK!”

Trump critiques Kasich’s conspicuous consumption of pancakes. Trump would never engage in conspicuous consumption of anything, right?

I think the actual quote was:

“Kasich is a stubborn guy who eats like a slob.”

Lol.

Say what you will about Trump, but he’s not a slob.
