Trump easily has the nomination, its been obvious for a while, Cruz et al needed the myth of a contested convention to remain alive to keep their faithful motivated, and to keep folks turning in for the “drama” for ratings.
Cruz was done long before Wisconsin.
After tonight, when Trump is going to wind up right around 1000 delegates... any argument that there will be a contested convention is just folks living in denial. Trump will easily pick up another 250 or more delegates between now and the end of the primaries.... there is no path to a Cruz nomination, no contested convention, none of it.
Its time that folks take some time off, deal with their emotions, disappointment or joy, relax take a few deep breaths and come back ready to fight for the general election.
