“a revision of their rules to be applied in future elections”

That is exactly what Trump has been talking about. He’s wanting to win with the system and rules as they currently are. They refuse to bribe delegates the way Cruz is. Donald Jr made the comment that the way delegates are bribed is ILLEGAL in business and that you would go to jail for it. And it’s true. I think Trump has been stunned by how dirty it is, starting with IA. Which is why Donald JR says “politicians wouldn’t last five minutes in business”.

No one gets to where you are signing 22K paychecks by acting like politicians do.

They can say whatever they want about Cruz, and they have, but it doesn’t make it so, and I’m not willing to simply take them at their word on such a serious charge.

Where’s the proof that Cruz has bribed delegates?

Trump himself has admitted to giving to politicians in order to get their blessing on what he wants to do in business. He says that’s just a reality and he had no choice if he wanted to accomplish anything. I accept him at his word in that case. He’s right and we know it..

But to then say if this were done in business you’d go to jail? By his own admission, many times, Trump did exactly that and did not go to jail. That I’m aware of anyway.

If he wants to run under Party rules, he should let it all play out, because there are rules in place that aren’t going to change this election cycle. Maybe never.

But it appears that he counted on large crowds translating into a win, and it didn’t work out for him any more than Cruz counting on the evangelical vote in the south worked out for him. Facts are facts.

At this point, he has a plurality, as you know. He may indeed win the nomination, but he has not done so until he’s secured the 1237 delegates.
