States rights were effectively killed after the Civil War, and then neutered all over again ever since by the courts and the threats to cut off Federal funding if they don’t tow the line on any issue. I don’t like it, but it’s true. As far as the primary process, it needs to be reformed. This race has exposed its corruption and flaws.
The parties can reform themselves or the people can move on to alternate parties.
