COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A coroner says seven of the eight victims in killings targeting a southern Ohio family were shot multiple times, and one had nine gunshot wounds.

The Hamilton County coroner said Tuesday that autopsies showed some victims also had bruising. One victim was shot only once, but it's not clear who that was.

The coroner’s office did not say which victims sustained how many gunshot wounds. Investigators also found soft tissue bruising on some of the victims, Daly said.

Later Tuesday, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine also said additional search warrants were served Monday with the investigation. DeWine did not release the number of additional search warrants or their locations.

I will say there was an emphasis on the first syllable.

This whole story creeps me out. My hubby and I love to cruise through the back roads of our Ohio parts. I always wonder what goes on in those picturesque farms.

Nine shots to one victim seems a little much.

I'd have to agree. My guess is that the shooter knew this guy and had a score to settle.

“The number of shots would seem to rule out a pro.”

Not really! Seems to me to make it more likely a pro.

“Where’s the money?” Bang! “ Where’s it stashed?” Bang!
And so on!

They were killed in different locations. The shooter/shooters may have had more opportunity in some locations to overkill. Multiple targets may have necessitated single shots. Hard to tell, but clearly a message being sent.

It sounds like it was done by the narco mafia-venganza-they kill whole families that cut in on their profits-and they sometimes kill little kids, too. I hope the kids left alive are closely guarded and far away, in case someone decides the job wasn’t finished...

This was a vendetta killing against one or more of the victims, fueled by lots of anger. Who ever the suspect/suspects are, knew at least one if not all the victims.

Depending on the wounds locaitions, and the victims, multiple wounds (>3) may have been a crude attempt to extract information. Or it may have been just lousy aim.

From a post upstream, I counted 32 shots found in victims, that is 32 boom booms

No one heard anything ? Did the shooter(s) police their brass

In any location, was there return fire ? Or found brass ?

There are a lot of suppressors out there, both legal and illegal.
So many unanswered questions because the police aren’t releasing any info about the details.

And it says they were killed while they slept.

32 shots and no one awakened?

World’s best suppressor or multiple shooters.
