Now, I am thinking he might hit 1280 or higher.

Nitpick, and proabaly a typo on your part. King put half of the 54, or 27, into the Trump column - said it would be at least that many.

Agreed - at this point the 'Trump might not get 1237' narrative is merely an excuse for the media to keep people watching.

I'm really surprised at the straight reporting coming from CNN and even MSNBC. Granted that their commentators want Clinton to win, yet they are saying there is something unique going on in the country and Trump keeps countering conventional wisdom. Anderson Cooper seems very fair, as does Gloria Bolger.
