In what many are calling “The End” for Ted Cruz’s presidential bid, Donald Trump ran away with the North East, sweeping PA, CT, RI, MD, and DE in epic Trump-fashion.
It will become increasingly difficult for an already mathematically eliminated Ted Cruz to continue to justify staying in a race after this monumental shellacking.
Ted has defended his odd decision to stay in the race by claiming that Trump has no path to 1237. After tonight’s humiliating defeat will anyone seriously buy what Ted’s trying to sell?

Did anyone notice how Trump went out of hiw way to praise Reince Preibus? This is the art of the deal, you fight like hell and no holds barred until you get what you want, then you sign the contract, set it aside, and become friends.
He’s also said nice things about Paul Ryan and excused Scott Walker for endorsing Cruz because “I took him out”, but Walker recently said he would support Trump if he were the nominee. Walker ought to be on Trumps VP list as well. Ryan and Walker are important allies in Wisconsin of Priebus. Nothing to stop Trump from dropping a few coins in Ryan’s re-election coffers either.

I hope you’re not thinking Cruz could beat her. He can barely break 20% with republican voters. He’s surely not going to win the swing states.
Yes, there is something disturbingly wrong with Cruz’ mental health. He is going to lose it and the white coats will haul him away.
