I doubt he’ll step down. I’m betting he announces his cabinet and his VP or one or the other.
If it’s Fiorina, as has been hinted, I don’t see how it helps.
It could be an endorsement. I suppose that Pence could endorse him.

I read somewhere that until you actually get the nomination, you are not allowed to pick a V.P. or promise anything to anyone on a cabinet postion...
Trump has held up to that, that’s why he won’t say who his V.P. will be or anyone else’s position...I think he knows who he wants, but it’s not time...
And I agree, Cruz is in total meltdown, probably really embarrassed to go back to the Senate because I don’t believe a lot of them knew then what they know now...and Texas of all places, I have read a lot of statements on other sites that said they will not be re electing him...
