Wow! This will do no good. Time to fold the tent for Cruz. It is too late I bet, but he could have saved face and then had opportunity as Attorney General or possible SCOTUS. Or he could determine to be a Ted Kennedy and be in the Senate for 6 terms. I don’t know, but I think he may have submarined any chance of anything in the future.

I thought it was great when Cruz announced his run for POTUS last year. I was on board as soon as I heard about it.

As I have Posted before, I have some friends in Texas that have known the Cruz Family since his days as Solicitor General there. They told me years ago about Cruz and they said he was the real deal.

I live in CA and I really have no idea about TX Politics, but that was the reason I supported Ted when he announced. He is the only Candidate I have given Donations to this Election Season.

That being said, I am now leaning Trump. It started when I realized that Cruz simply couldn’t get the numbers, and now I have had the realization that maybe Cruz should have waited until he had some years under his belt serving as a Senator before trying to run for POTUS.

Now I am simply watching a spectacle taking place amd I am very disappointed watching the implosion. This Carly thing if true is another blunder of epic proportions.

I still feel that Cruz is the smartest guy in the room no matter what room he walks into, but it isn’t enough to get him to the Promised Land. Such is Politics.

I am reminded of something my Dear Late Mother used to say, “some people are so smart, they’re stupid”. Based on the state of Cruz’s Campaign, I now understand what my Mother meant.
