Ted Cruz, looking for a shake-up in the 2016 race as Donald Trump moves steadily closer to the Republican nomination, on Wednesday announced former GOP primary rival Carly Fiorina as his choice for running mate should he win the party nod.

Great now Fiorina can be a double loser.
Excellent choice for many reasons. Strategically, she will help him in crucial California, and in the general against Hillary. It blunts the ridiculous media frenzy over a liberal guy from the Northeast winning in the liberal Northeast (that is news?).
I always thought Carly was sharp, articulate, and principled. She isn’t as conservative as I would have liked, but it’s hard to beat out Cruz in that regard.

But I just found that this guy Barrett also heads Intel and the push for more foreign workers. The fundraiser featured Former US Sen. Jon Kyl...who in 2007 with Ted Kennedy and McCain was one of the senators to write Bush’s amnesty. Carly is in bed with the enemy!

Cruz taps Fiorina was a better headline.
Most of the cash went to Isgur Flores (a $500,000 transfer from a Ted PAC to a Snarly PAC last year)...the VeePship goes to Snarly.
The VeePship has value because, while there is a remotely small chance they will win the nomination, there is Yuuge media value in trying.
This is the reason Ted announced early Veep.
She demanded it...and Ted owed her for keeping her mouth shut.
