...when the "NeverTrump" zealots start rubbing the site owner's nose in their BS, they deserve to get the zot, IMHO.

If all they can offer is to dutifully carry the water of the GOPe/Cruz/contested convention crowd, then I certainly won't miss their thoughtful voices.

It's gotten to a point where adult supervision is the only way to restore order to the forum. Thank goodness JimRob decided to put an end to the incessant rantings, attacks, and propagandizing, by a small (but vocal) contingent on this forum. That small number made this place a living hell for over eight months, with their never-ending attacks against the Republican front runner.

Over the last 100 days, Freeper DoughtyOne has run a daily caucus thread, where any Freeper could vote for the candidate of their choice. Throughout the exercise, Trump dominated the voting, yet the loudmouth Cruzombies kept pushing the idea that their guy was not only viable, but that he was dominating the primary race, and would soon vanquish Trump, who was beating the pants off him, all along.

I'm sorry, but that's simply destructive to the process, and to the goal of evicting the corrupt ruling class elites from Washington, as it falsely props up a candidate who is quietly accepting the full support of the political elites, and who isn't credible in any way on handling the existential threats we face as a nation.

I understand that a lot of conservatives have supported Ted Cruz throughout this primary, but in truth, the majority have not. Most of us were once in Ted's corner, but over time, our vetting revealed that he isn't nearly what he's cracked up to be. Not even close, in fact. So much so, that a strong majority developed, who were strongly turned off by the man's obvious failures to live up to our simple expectations. He really is not who most of us thought he was, in the beginning of the race.

I'm really sorry for the hurt feelings of so many Cruz supporters, but they just have not opened their eyes to the facts about the man. If they had, they would have already crossed over and joined us in supporting Trump for the nomination.

That's so true, Windflier.

And a key word is vetting.

That process is now complete. Anyone who is still at that phase is far behind the curve.

And now we've reached the stage where that consensus has to be accepted to allow us to move forward.

There's no sense in Cruz fanboys crying over spilt milk, or to continue undermining the presumptive nominee with lines of attack which perfectly echo those of the Establishment/Media/GOPe. There's no place for echoing Enemy propaganda on this site, and, unfortunately, too many who dislike Donald Trump revel in exactly that.

It's time to unify.

Vote Trump
