Remember Jan. 20, 1981?

The split TV screen with Reagan taking the oath of office and the plane taking off from Teheran with our hostages.

Made the pain and humiliation of the previous 444 days to that worthwhile.

And in my book, Iran has never paid the price for that.

I remember that day as well!

My brother was leaving IRAN that same Friday THANKS to Reagan who also helped not only the hostages.......

Pan Am WORKERS also we able to leave. And when these PAN AM workers arrived in New York they were immediately told THEY had NO jobs!

I remember no one was sure or would confirm that the hostages had in fact been released. I remember the plane landing and reading the words "United States of America" on the side. Waiting, and waitinbg...and the door opened. People started down the stairs.

I tear up thinking about it.
