Saw this thread earlier and thought about posting it but held off - they just mentioned it on Fox Biz and Cruz addressing it. Cruz said he’s only spoken maybe 50 words to Boehner.

Boehner described other Republican candidates as friends. In particular, the former speaker said he has played golf with Donald Trump for years and that they were “texting buddies.”
Not sure I like that Boehner and Trump are texting.
