“He said something to the effect of bringing all Americans together, dems, rep, indy etc etc.”
I remember that part.
People are all over the place on the speech.
Howard Dean (ick) just said on Morning Joe that he was reading a speech that someone else wrote for him and he didn’t understand. Joe at least said that a lot of it was things that he says in his rallies.
Some have said that Trump is an isolationist, others (I think Kraut for one) said that some of his statements were contradictory. I think most of the people that are saying these things are neo-cons and/or globalists.
Some have said that so what if he appears to be an isolationist, people are tired of war, nation building, etc. and feel it’s about time we get back to America first.
Bottom line, many pundits and people like Lindsey Graham blasted it, but I think the speech and words resonated with the average American voter.
Let me tell you something, Folks. Reagan gave a similar speech, and like Trump’s is was directed to our friends and our allies, but more important our enemies.
I heard yesterday that North Korea has two satellites hovering over us, that could zap our electrical grid. If true, they should basically tell us what the satellite is doing up there, and secondly in not, then it comes down. Fast.
That speech was directed at Iran, N. Korean, Russia and China. Trust me.
This man means what he says.
If the pundits hated it then it had to be spot on. They only want America on its knees begging for forgiveness. Trump’s speech had America standing tall and leading.
Pray America wakes
Trump is not an isolationist. America first does not mean America only. It means the safety, security and welbeing of our people “trumps” the wants and needs of everyone and everything else.
