If Donald Trump has begun to refer to himself as the presumptive Republican nominee, the positive reaction Wednesday by some party leaders and strategists to his foreign policy address seemed to affirm that notion.
Speaking from prepared remarks in Washington, D.C. an unusual format and setting for the bombastic outsider candidate Trump described U.S. foreign policy under President Obama and, by extension, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as a complete and total disaster.

I’m glad there are some at least that liked the speech. Many of us loved it and felt it was thoughtful.
Of course the globalists and neo-cons didn’t like it (as I mentioned up thread). Time for them to go (Kraut, Will, Kristol, et al).
In the article I was reading (think I linked it up thread), the group that had the speech has Kissinger on their board and they likened Trump’s FP more to Nixon and Kissinger.
KT McFarland, a woman I really respect on FP, liked it. I hope Trump finds a place for her in his Admin.
Some here were wondering why Trump was going to CA. I think he decided to give a speech in OC because he had to be in the Bay area Friday for a lunch at the CA Republican convention, which starts tomorrow. All the tickets for his lunch ($100 ea) are sold out as are Cruz’s lunch on Sat. There are still tickets available for the Eater’s dinner.
Protestors (BLM and other groups) are expected for Trump. Someone posted that Biker’s for Trump would be there.
